The Latino Diamante Awards are presented each year, to honor individuals or organizations that are making significant contributions to the Latino/Hispanic community of North Carolina. It also honors outstanding Latinos/Hispanics whose success helps to enhance the image of the Latino/Hispanic community.
YOUTH ACCOMPLISHMENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Recognizes individual contributions and achievements of Latino/Hispanic youth in North Carolina. The nominee must be a High School graduating senior/incoming freshman or sophomore student in College/University attending a North Carolina institution of higher learning. Must present a letter of recommendation from your High School Principal, College Counselor or a community leader; present a certified copy of school transcripts with a minimum C+ or 2.5 grade point average; and be at least 50% of Hispanic/Latino descent.

Los Premios Diamante son presentados anualmente para honrar a individuos u organizaciones que se destacan por su contribución al bien de la comunidad latina de Carolina del Norte. También honra a latinos, quiénes por sus éxitos, mejoran la imagen de la comunidad latina en nuestro estado.
BECA LOGRO JUVENIL
Reconoce las contribuciones de jóvenes latinos. El candidato debe ser estudiente acabado de graduar de la secundaria/preparatoria entrando a su primer or segundo año en el Colegio/Universidad y atendera un colegio o universidad en Carolina del Norte. Debe someter una carta de recomendación del director de su escuela secundaria/preparatoria, consejero de la Universidad o un líder en tu comunidad; presentar una copia certificada de tus calificaciones con un promedio de C+ ó 2.5 o más; y tener 50% descendencia Latina.

It also honors outstanding Latinos/Hispanics whose success helps to enhance the image of the Latino/Hispanic community. ALL QUESTIONS IN ALL PAGES MUST HAVE A FULL ANSWER IN ORDER FOR THIS TO BE A VALID NOMINATION. THANK YOU. Multiple nominations are not necessary in order to receive an award.
