12th Annual Estrella de la Esperanza Campaign

Building Cultural Bridges and Fostering Cultural Participation.
Diamante’s Estrella de la Esperanza (Star of Hope) Campaign began 2004/05 to keep an almost lost Holiday traditions alive within the Latino community while, at the same time, presenting gifts to children and groceries to their families.  This holiday campaign brings hope to Hispanic/Latino children and their families during, this, the season of brotherhood and giving.  Estrella de la Esperanza is symbolic of Hispanic/Latino children being shining stars in the community. On January 2017, we will service over 400 children and  200 families. The previously identified children and families are recommended to the Estrella de la Esperanza through different agencies, such as Wake County Human Services, Wake County Public Schools, local authorities and others.
All the Estrella de la Esperanza Campaign events are free and open to the public. The Estrella de la Esperanza donations are
used to help underwrite the campaign.
